Demi-Glace Sauce
You can create velvety and rich Demi-glace sauce

[Makes 2 1/2 cups]    Cooking time: 10 minutes

1/8 cup salad oil
1 bay leaf
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules, or 1 cube, crushed
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
2 cups red wine

1. Place the flour and salad oil in a microwave-safe bowl (2 1/2 liter or 2 1/2 quart) and mix.

2. Cover with a vented microwave lid and cook on HIGH (1200W) for 30 – 40 seconds.

3. Take out and stir. It will become brown.

4. Add a bay leaf, beef bouillon, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and tomato ketchup and mix.

5. Cover and cook on HIGH (1200W) for 1 minute.

6. Take out, and while the mixture is hot, add the red wine, 1/2 cup at a time, while stirring, until all the wine is incorporated.

7. Cover and cook on HIGH (1200W) for 2 minutes to finish. Remove the bay leaf.
