Ginger Teriyaki Sauce
This ginger flavored teriyaki sauce is perfect for meat and fish dishes!

[Makes 3/4 cup]    Cooking time: 5 minutes

1/4 cup sugar
1/8 cup red wine
1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger
1 tablespoon salad oil
2 teaspoons cornstarch

1. Place all the ingredients in a microwave-safe dish and mix. Cover with a vented microwave lid and cook on HIGH (1200W) for 1 – 1 1/2 minutes.

2. Take out and stir until it thickens.

* Teriyaki sauce with the taste of red wine and ginger! A perfect sauce for salmon, cod, chicken or pork sauté. This can also be used for steaming sauce. You can serve with fresh vegetables as a salad dressing.
