[Makes 2 cups]    Cooking time: 5 minutes

Image of ingredients of Tempura Dipping Sauce 1 cup water
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup white wine
1/4 cup sugar

1. Place all the ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl (1 1/2 liter or 1 1/2 quart), and stir.

2. Cover with a vented microwave lid and cook on HIGH (1200W) for 3 minutes.

3. Take out and stir until sugar completely dissolves. Let cool.

* This is a good sauce for fried chicken or a dipping sauce for tempura. To make a non-oil salad dressing, add 1 part vinegar and 4 parts tempura dipping sauce.
