GOYA NO MIZORE-AE
(Goya with grated daikon radish)
“mizore” means “sleet”__ Rain mixed snow or hail that fall in mid winter. The grated daikon radish is compared to “mizore”. Try with microwaved condiments.
[Serves 2]    14kcal per portion; 0.4g salt
 

50g goya
80g daikon radish (grated and drained with a tea strainer)
1 1/2 vinegar soy sauce

1. Halve goya lengthwise. Remove the seeds and the fleecy pulp with a spoon.

2. Cut them into 5-7mm half-moons, put into a plastic bag and add 1/2tsp salt and 1Tbsp water (beside the ingredients). Fold down the open edge of the bag. Microwave on 600W for 30seconds. (15seconds on 1200W)

3. Soak into water to cool, squeeze out the excess water.

4. Combine grated daikon radish and su-jyouyu with goya and arrange on a plate.
